Glad to hear about the running, buddy. It's a great way to lose weight, stay in shape, and keep the joints from getting stiff later in life.

When you come visit for C2E2, perhaps we'll go for a run around town.

That was beautiful man!!! Seriously...I'm not passionate about much these days except my kids and Stacy...So I love to hear about peoples passions and what drives them...I have no doubt in my mind that you will be successful with this...You are a fucking talented individual...and when that day comes I will proudly be the one to say...I told you so.

Steve, I totally identify with all three of these in some way or another. I am making more firewalled time for being creative as well and I think its a great thing, but the hard part is going to be sticking to it. Which leads to your second point of networking, which a lot of it focuses around the question "What are you working on right now?/What have you done?" so being more prolific helps with that. In addition I do not just want to be riding around on Trevor's coattails this year as, while he is good at networking, I don't want to be seen just as the guy that hosts his site. As for the third, as Steve Jobs said "Real artists ship." to me that means getting it out their in the media that you want it to be in. I'm trying, this year, to be able to call my self - legitimately - a digital media producer. So if your goal is to be in print, then I think that your priorities are straight, in first creating work, finding the right people to support the process and finally finishing the job.
The long and the short of it is, I hope for the best on your resolutions, and I wish you luck in making everything work.
